I assume what you meant is that it's updating or grabbing 5 processes every second. It's set to update every 1000ms or every 1 second. I would like to display cpu temp, cpu usage. Hey all, Ive made a small widget style skin for background monitoring of CPU and GPU temperature, usage, and clock speeds. I would like to know if anyone could help me get started. i will displaying the info on a 5in monitor mounted inside my PC. Hey all, Ive made a small widget style skin for background monitoring of CPU and GPU temperature, usage, and clock speeds. It's a noticeable increase, but nothing like what you're experiencing.Īlso, you're skin doesn't update 5 times a second like you mentioned. I have been looking for a cool overlay or graph program to use in my new PC build. When I load your skin it's usage range changes to 0.1 - 0.9%. You need to run SpeedFan in the background to pull the temps, and configure an ini file. I typically have Rainmeter idling around 0.1 - 0.6% usage on my CPU. I don't see any noticeable spike in my Rainmeter usage when loading your skin exactly as you've given it. Legacy Color Name Support-Ī few quick questions Are you using a 32bit or 64bit version of Rainmeter and what is your OS version? Do you have the most recent Beta Build of Rainmeter installed? You can get the most recent build, Rainmeter 3.2 Beta (r2311) which is current as of from the direct download link here. The skin uses CoreTemp for temperature readings, which mean the measurements, are recorded per core and not per thread. Or is the only solution to not poll the list of processes 5 times every second? The Dynamic CPU Core rainmeter plugin makes the process of checking your CPU performance and CPU temperature simpler just by looking at two independent and scalable radii. The variables are of no consequence theyre just colors and font sizes, the skin works as posted (provided you have 6 core cpu, otherwise the scale needs to be (cpu number100000) in the usage per process measures). The first core is 0, the second core is 1, etc. Re: Process list skin (via AdvancedCPU) high CPU utilization.
